Specialist areas

Her experience means she is able to help with a range of more general life problems (for example anxiety, relationship issues, low mood/depression and self-image) as well as more specialist areas (Borderline Personality Disorder, anorexiabulimia, body image problems, comfort eating). Gill is also trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy & Mindfulness. Mindfulness is a powerful tool for clients who want to feel more engaged and connected with their experiences but find they are overwhelmed by day-to-day stresses and worries. Mindfulness can be combined with Schema Therapy, providing a liberating way of relating to yourself with compassion and acceptance. Gill also uses a range of techniques and strategies from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to help clients who want to focus their efforts on changing a specific emotional problem or unwanted behaviour, often within a relatively short space of time.

Locations

Gill’s practice is near Mile End Tube (2 stops on the Central Line from Liverpool Street).
